This tea table was treated with Yakisugi charring technique (also known as Shou Sugi Ban). This piece is made from a big and uneven chunk of european walnut. The Yakisugi technique helped to pronounce all the natural splits and 30 years old saw marks giving this piece a beautiful Wabi Sabi aesthetics.
